Sunday kitteh!

Sunday. A very short weekend. Nothing to do. No camera of my own. So I just borrowed a friend's camera and took a picture of one of the four (!) latest additions to the (really) growing number of cats in our household. This little fellow is still nameless. We have so many cats roaming around the house lately that we gave up naming all of them.

Well I am not yet ready to talk about the cat dilemma in our household in detail just yet. Suffice it to say, we have so many that they are becoming quite unmanageable and expensive to feed. And my mother is so compassionate of them that she doesn't want to throw any of them away.

The last week has been a mixed bag. I feel so much better now, thankfully, but I also received news that a position I applied for at work, will be given to someone else (someone who has been with the company longer). It was quite a bummer as I was contemplating on leaving the shift group at work and just work the "regular" hours from 2 to 11PM (1 to 10PM when DST starts in a few weeks).

But being the God-fearing bloke that I am, I will just be happy for the fellow who got the job (I don't know who he or she is yet) and just believe that there will be something better for me in the near future. I just have to work shifts a little longer, and just be more industrious about getting enough exercise and sleep so that the really erratic working hours will not affect my health so much.

At least I will keep on having the 4-5 days off every third week, so I can go travelling during my days off and keep on taking pictures.
