I will miss my friends and colleagues

I guess I was being a little too optimistic. I was planning to spend the remaining few weeks I have in Norway to take as many pictures as I can. But of course having limited time left at work means I have to spend more hours in the office training my replacement and making sure that every little thing I have to do that I was postponing before, finally gets done.

Add to that, spring finally decides to rear its ugly head and with it countless pollen particles which I am severly allergic to. So my time outdoors, even with heavy medication, has to be limited.

All of a sudden I only have a little under two weeks left. Finally all my furniture has been dismantled and collected, and now I have a few days to relax before I start with the thorough cleaning of the apartment. And there's no better way to spend those few days off than with my friends and colleagues. This will be our last chance to hang out together and paint the town red. I always have so much fun with them whenever we go out.

As usual there were quite a few drinks involved as always a rather classy evening with dinner and drinks at a fancy restaurant or bar ends up being a rowdy and fun-filled late night with dancing and even more drinks. But I don't get to do these often (and I probably won't be able to this in the Philippines at all!) so it was worth it. Evenings like these usually leave a rather large dent on my credit card. And to make matters worse, the day after almost always have to be written off to reconvalesce (today was no exception).

This is me having a go at a Penthouse Jack. And one of the last few pictures I was able to take before the alcohol levels got quite high and common sense decided to quit for the night.

But all in all a successful evening. The perfect culmination to a 15-year long romp in Scandinavia!
