A Sign Of Good Things To Come?

Home again after 15 hours in the office! A stressful day, but it's nice to get home feeling one has been productive, albeit tired and weary.

Still no camera though. I have been praying that today would be the day, but I guess it was not meant to be. Maybe tomorrow will be "it". I do have to give Canon some time to re-establish shipping of the EOS 5D Mark III after deliveries were delayed due to the light leak issue. It seems they have sorted it out now though, and a new batch of cameras, hopefully fixed, are being sent out to stores again.

But I checked my (snail) mailbox today and look what just got delivered from e-bay! The glass protector for the 5D Mark III which I ordered a week ago! Unlike the plastic protectors which are used on mobile phones and other devices with LCD screens, this one is made of several layers of ultra-thin, high-impact glass materials, which resists both scratching and breaking. It's quite pricey at around US$ 10 a pop, but it includes protectors for both the main LCD screen and the screen on top of the camera. Definitely a good insurance!

I am taking this as a sign that the Canon EOS 5D Mark III will definitely be the camera I am supposed to have and use! And I am taking this as a sign that the camera will arrive very soon! It may me just being superstitious of course. But anything that can cheer me up and keep me in a good mood is very welcome now, what with all the waiting!
