Easter Break

Easter is probably one of the few days in the year when a busy city like Oslo actually becomes a quiet, and rather deserted, place.

But of course some people still have to go to work.

I tried to go out for some "shutter therapy" but came back with very few keepers. It's been a while since I had been out with a camera, and I feel I need to get used to the feeling again. I have to train my eyes once more to be vigilant and pick up the small details. I feel like I have lost my mojo!

I guess it's why I am excited to be leaving Norway. The Philippines will be a very busy, chaotic, and dangerous place compared to Norway but the change of environment will hopefully boost my photographic inspiration.

I hope for better luck tomorrow. Although many are saying that spring is here, I definitely cannot feel it! It's still very cold, the earth is still barren and covered in ice, and the trees have not sprouted. It's like someone fell asleep at work and forgot to press the ON button. Even the ducks feel confused! There is just so little color to work with right now.
