A Sore Shoulder...
...is what you get after walking with the Canon 1D Mark IV and the Sigma 150-500mm for almost 5 hours.
But boy oh boy, it's worth it.
I guess it's my own fault though. I still hold the lens with my left hand to keep it from rubbing against my trousers' pockets when I am moving about.
I am having so much fun with this lens! I sometimes still get irked by its limitations but there is really not much to fault. I have to enjoy this lens as much as I can. Summer in Norway is very short. The autumn months, with the bad lighting that comes with it, will render this lens almost useless.
But until then I will continue to explore the different forested areas in the Oslo region and take as many pictures as I can. So in the next few weeks there will probably be very little writing on this blog, and more picture posting.

A Turtle Dove. Unlike pigeons, these birds are really smart!
I love this mysterious look of this picture.
Two European Coots (Fulica Atra) frolicking in the water.
The golden hour picture. Makes me miss my family even more!
