Rain, Rain, Go Away!

It's noon and I have so many things planned. Today is the Medieval Festival in the old part of Oslo and I was planning to go out and shoot some images. But the weather is not cooperating.

So instead I will just post some pictures I took yesterday when the weather was a little bit more pleasant. Overcast, but just enough sunlight to warrant the use of the 150-500mm lens. Of course the falling light levels pushed the ISO levels yet again. And yet again, like the reliable workhorse that it is, the Canon 1D Mark IV didn't fail to do a splendid job of maintaining detail and suppressing noise. Knowing that I can get the shot no matter how bad the light is is a great feature to have, and definitely worth the investment!

The neighbor's cat seemed to like the pictures!
